School days

In between my Organizational Behaviour class and my accounting class, I have about an hour and a half where my friend Casey is in her stats class. Today, I am not doing anything on this break except for listening to new Taylor Swift music (RED, Begin again, State of Grace, The Script (No words, Millionaires) and Pitch Perfect (Cups, Bellas final and trebbletones final). I also just saw a guy outside longboarding and he was holding a wrapped bouquet of flowers. I hope Haig Pinsent does that for me someday. He would do something cheesy like that and I would love every second of it.
Life has been weird without him but I can say I am certainly adjusting. It was nice to get an email {from his parents} from a lady in Minnesota saying how polite Elder Pinsent and how thoughtful he is. It makes me some happy.
My weekend starts today because I don't have my regular class on Friday. I have lots of school readings to catch up on but I'm hoping to do some exciting things as well. Any ideas for me? I'll take em'

Heart is Full

Heart is so full today,

got a text from my sister telling me I had two letters today from Elder Pinsent.  I also had two letters on Friday!  I am feeling like one lucky lady.
This boy is loving his mission, which I am so grateful for.  I am so happy that he is worthy and he is doing this because he knows it is what he needs to do.
Isn't this lake in Minneapolis so pretty?  Minneapolis has a lot of bike greenways too, there are lots of people who bike everywhere!  I really can't picture Elder Pinsent riding around on a bike much but I guess he does!
I was so excited to get these pictures, like, Be Still my Soul!!--this boy is amazing.

Thanksgiving

just a few things to be thankful for---

- Dad is home right now.  He landed on Saturday night and will be home for about another week
-Ate lots of good food for thanksgiving festivities, hmm hot chicken sandwiches are the best!
-My lovely Aunt Karen and her beau Paul had us over for a turkey dinner on Sunday.
-Got to spend some lovely time with my family over the past week
-hearing our Prophet speak at General Conference
-Elder Pinsent serving a mission in Minneapolis, Minnesota
-Employment and Enrollment in school
-Warm house, Warm Heart, Lots of Love from Family and Friends over the past couple of weeks,

I am thankful :)

1 month down

more to go

Don't worry, you won't be seeing these from me every month.  They are mostly to keep myself and my Elder on track of how we are doing on this journey.  I can attest that making it one month has been quite an achievement.  How do you think you would feel if you couldn't talk to your favorite person at any given point during the day?  The person that you texted non-stop and called when something was wrong or something was downright hilarious.  I am thankful for all of those who have been behind me this past month, you know who you are, you have truely been there for me when I really need it.  I am finding out who some of my true friends are throughout this and I am grateful for them.

Love is hard, so is Life but we gotta love and live it anyways

Keep smiling people, today is a good day.

Hello October

A new month is here,

I am in a frustrated mood right now, because my Accounting homework is not treating me well at all.  I think I will have to look into getting a tutor.  But alas, let's focus on some good stuff shall we?

September, you have been a pretty decent month.  Although there were lots of low points, and I am glad to say that the hardest parts are over, it was an over all good month.  Sure, I had to say goodbye to my best friend, but I know he is safe and well and loving his experiences.  And also, starting school was hard and it still is a challenge up to this point but I will try and make it through.  Work is also a struggle but what else is going to pay for my education?

I am just going to relax for the night from here on out, too frustrated to get my mind into anything else tonight.
